  • I have taught for forty years using an inquiry approach. Students are presented data involving biological principles during the lecture or laboratory periods. Through interactive discussion and manipulation and analysis of data, they learn various biological concepts.

    Research Overview

  • From 1989 to 2008 I performed productivity studies using C-14 NaHC03 uptake. This work includes collecting samples from 13 stations on the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries, performing the C-14 uptake studies, collecting and analyzing data, and writing a technical report for the State Board of Water Quality
